My journey to become a therapist:

My therapeutic approach has been paved  by previous experiences such as working in a non-profit mental health organization, women’s transitional programs, Corporate wellness and consulting as well as working with youth and families as an educator and K-12 principal.  After completing my doctoral degree in Organizational Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University in San Diego, California, I achieved my ultimate life dream of becoming a therapist.

I specialize in LGBTQI+ and BIPOC communities,  life transitions, depression, anxiety, personality/mood disorders, relationship issues and family therapy.

I strive to create a therapeutic practice that provides a safe, non-judgemental and nourishing client centered environment.  My therapeutic goal is to help you process your past and present so you may embrace and flourish in the next chapters of your life.

Outside of the therapy office, you can find me..

When I'm not doing  the job that I love, you'll find me at home with my fiance and our adorable furbabies.  I love to spend time surrounded by my birth and chosen family. I love the outdoors and finding ways to be artistic and adventurous.   I love yoga and pretending I can dance at my Zumba class!  I look forward to meeting you!  Let's get started on your next therapeutic adventure!

I would be a good fit for therapy if you’re looking for…

  • A therapist who is warm, humorous, and sensitive

  • A place to explore your story and the meanings you have made about yourself, others, and your relationships

  • A place to process difficult pieces of your history and identity

  • Help through difficult relational issues, romantic or otherwise

  • A therapist who is BIPOC and/or LGBTQ identified
