The way I approach therapy…
From my therapeutic lens, every individual, couple, and family is special with valid experiences, and unique life circumstances. Therefore, a single therapy model will not fit all clients’ specific needs and struggles. I believe every client has the potential to live a more satisfying life and they do not need to face difficult life situations alone. Now that you have taken this significant step, you are closer to a new you and I am here to support you. Throughout your journey in therapy, I aim to empower you to embrace your unique qualities and to have the relationships and experiences that you deserve. In a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space, we will collaborate to achieve your therapeutic goals and to uncover a deeper sense of purpose and connection in your life. Remember, you have the potential to live a life that you deserve, and I am dedicated to helping you realize that potential every step of the way.
My journey so far…
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and I have worked with individuals, couples, families and children with trauma and difficult childhood experiences to help them overcome mental health struggles, relationship issues, and challenging life situations. My education and clinical experience have helped me to be the therapist I am today and I’m privileged to help my clients to navigate their challenges and struggles. I earned my Master’s Degree (MS) in Couple and Family Therapy from University of Massachusetts, Boston, and I am currently doing research and mentoring graduate students to support their professional development hours at Alliant International University, San Diego where I earned my Doctor of Psychology degree in Couple and Family Therapy.
My Professional Trainings:
Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
Narrative Therapy
Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) (Training coming soon in 2025!)
Outside of the therapy office, you can find me:
In my personal life, I cherish the moments spent with my family and friends. My love for nature often draws me outdoors, where I find joy in hiking and exploring breathtaking landscapes. I believe every new experience brings a sense of discovery and wonder to my life and I am excited to accompany you on your journey towards improved mental health and wellbeing.
